This is the best balance between affordable and comfort, as it was only a liitle bit more expensive than a bed in a dormitory for one room for 2 people. It was very nice to have a room for ourself, and even if the shower and toilet are shared, there is at least a sink whish was very useful for toothbrushing and basic washes without having to go out the room. The room is also very big. The placement is very great as it is near all the interesting places to see in Hakodate by foot, except a little further from Goryokaku. Also, everything that is useful is available (pyjama, towels, toothbrushes, etc). The employees were also very polite with us!

The staff was friendly and could speak English well. The insides of the Hotel are large which is unusual especially considering the price. There was a nice relaxing area and a modern clean kitchen space with a huge table. The terrace offered a great view. The dorm was very spacious, which made luggage deposition easy. Also the ventilation was good. I never felt like I was suffocating nor bathing due to high humidity. Amenities including sleep wear have been available for free. It’s in close proximity to the brick warehouses too. The toilets and shower where clean too. I was really surprised and can recommend.

right opposite red brick warehouse and behind is the slope to russian church and public hall. hotel provide towel, shampoo and shower gel, razor, toothbrush, kitchen with unlimited green teas, utensil, microwave, fridge, induction and tv in kitchen. the bunk is huge with locker. many lounge in the hotel with big area. roof is accessible from kitchen and able to view beautiful scene of port. must try mini scooter(for rent) but require international license. there is bar(open at night) at hotel lobby. it is abit pricey for bunk bed but worth it for location. it’s like 5 stars bunk bed hostel.

Staff were friendly and spoke English, the location was close to a small train station that connected to Hakodate Station. The roof is accessible which helps with a nice view and breeze. The bathroom was quite big and had a extra room for the shower and bath, which were very nice as well. Location wise it was pretty close, as in walking distance, to the Mount Hakodate Ropeway and also 3 minutes away from Shisha Kamui, which was a refreshing Hookah experience and the best I've had so far.

Perfect location: close to the bay area, walking distance to the morning market and JR station (20 minutes). From the hotel, you can also walk up the slopes that lead to mount Hakodate, which is an interesting area to explore (around Motomachi park). The facilities look brand new and very clean. There's plenty of shared spaces, and the dormitory area is also spacious. Staff was very kind and helpful, they could all speak good English and could give me a few tips.
